I purchased the U-BOLT PRO with built in WiFi to replace another model, ULTRALOQ Smart Door Lock, that I purchased in 2021. The ULTRALOQ Smart would not consistently “Auto Unlock†upon my return home. Many other reviewers reported the same issue after a software update. I was unable to reinstall/restart/redo set up etc in order for that feature to work. All of the other features of the ULTRALOQ Smart work as expected. I have reinstalled the ULTRALOQ Smart on a different door for continued use for code entry, auto lock, and remote functions etc.The install and set-up of the U-BOLT PRO with built in WiFi was simple as per the instructions. As I read numerous reviews, it seems that many issues with the functionality of the U-BOLT PRO with built in WiFi could be related to improper alignment of the lock/bolt & door jam, improper fingerprint storage, and attempts to use a 5g WiFi network (requires a 2.4g network as do many cameras and smart home devices).So far, the fingerprint reader has worked 100% to unlock the door. I stored two of my prints, and was careful to place my finger (clean and dry) at different angles as per the instructions to ensure that a large area of my fingerprint was stored. I tested and retested the use of my fingerprint (wet, dry, dirty) and did not experience any problems with the fingerprint unlock function.The Auto Unlock feature was my primary reason for purchase of this lock. It has worked each and every time. I do like the “green light ring†that indicates that the door is unlocked as I approach the door. The Auto Unlock feature must be enabled with the U Home app, requires 2.4g WiFi, and “always on†location services for the U Home app within your cell phone operating system settings.Another feature that I like is Auto Lock - I have set this lock to Auto Lock after 15 minutes on a door used most often for ‘in and out†activities to unload groceries, get the mail etc. The Auto Lock Timing for this lock can be set to Auto Lock after 10seconds to 30minutes within the U Home app. The timing range is expanded for this model (the range for the older locks is 10seconds to 5minutes).I have been pleased with U Home/ULTRALOQ for many years. I find the products reliable and easy to use. I’ll add an update if I experience any problems with the U-BOLT PRO with built in WiFi.

Installation was straightforward if you have installed any other lockset previously. The function was good and app worked well for setting up pass codes, fingerprint and app access. I was surprised at how good the fingerprint ID worked. My lock is inside so I cannot speak to how well the fingerprint would work in exterior environments. I really like that attached to the WIFI I can access the lock, allow access to the office to users and verify the door is locked when they leave. The App is very intuitive, professional and clean.The lock did stop working after a week. I thought it might be batteries as I had used the ones shipped with the unit (recommend using new batteries not provided). Unfortunately after a bit of testing it seemed something had failed. Good news is that Ultraloq support was very helpful and immediately sent out a replacement interior control unit. It took about a week to receive which was not optimal, but leading up to the holidays I can't hold that against them. Follow up by customer support was also very good and they handled shipping and return. Replacement part installed and re programmed and all is working well for a number of weeks now. I will continue to monitor as this gets daily use and see how it holds up to the test of time.Overall very happy with this purchase and the support by Ultraloq. They asked me to review after assisting with my issues and I am glad to do so.

This is a pretty good smart lock. You can set it to lock the door when you leave automatically. It can also unlock the lock for you when it detects you have arrived home. This feature seems to work well for my wife but spotty for me. We also setup finger print and lock code access. That also all works pretty well. The issue we we have had was with the door lock sensor. After about two weeks this stopped working. I attempted to fix it a few times but did not get very far with it. I then figured out a week or two later it was a battery issue as the whole unit died. Once the batteries were replaced that worked again. Issue is it only had batteries in it for 3 or 4 weeks at max since install. It also has some good customization options.Installation was pretty easy, although I found it needed to be very careful when installing each screw as it did affect the locks ability to close. I had to get in there with a chisel and clear some material out to make sure the bolt closed freely. If yours has issue closing check with the door open to ensure it is not a fitment issue between the door/lock/frame.I did reach out to customer support with some of these problems and I found them very responsive and helpful.

This new version is great!I bought our first lock 4 years ago which did not have the fingerprint capability. The 4 AA batteries lasted abought 8 months or so. Over the next 2 years I purchased two with fingerprint capability and last year I purchased this upgrades model. The first one was very easy to use. The next two had the fingerprint capability and worked okay. The finger print works OK. My wife could not get it to work at all and it works for me most of the time but not always.All of the first 3 used a bridge to connect to WiFi. In my opinion, the bridge was kind of a pain. Every once in awhile it would lose connection and I would have to delete it and then re-add it to the app.Then I purchased this newer model that has built-in Wi-Fi and a door open sensor. So far everything is working great. The fingerprint seems to be a more receptive, the Wi-Fi connected very easily and the new feature with the door open sensor is a must. The door open sensor has a magnet that can detect when the door is opened or closed. Which means if you use the auto lock feature, it won't lock when the door is open and as soon as you close the door it senses the door is closed and locks automatically, nice.Overall, we really like the U-tech locks and would recommend the new model.

I like that the number pad is tactile, one of the few if not only digital lock i found usable by the number pad for a blind person. The keys are made of rubber, and has a springy feel to it. It is around the fingerprint sensor in a circle, somewhat like an old-fashioned telephone padThumbprint sensor is sensitive and I as specially found the automatic unlock function when I am nearing very handy when my hands are full. Only complaint is I have to go far enough from the property for it to recognise that I am coming back and automatically unlocking.Overall a fantastic product at a very affordable price point that is accessible and easy to use.

Muito boa mas não consegui sincronizar de outro bairro por exemplo (era o que eu mais queria para poder controlar o acesso de longe). Para usar a fechadura pelo celular tem que estar ao lado da porta (não faz sentido pra mim).

Funciona muy bien. Lo mejor es que funciona con las huellas dactilares ya que es algo muy muy practico. La apertura automatica por bluetooth (por cercania) no siempre me funciona como me gustaria, pero la verdad es que tampoco es algo tan critico si funcionan las huellas. Agregar personas es muy sencillo tambien. Super recomendable.
