I was washing windows that are up 10 feet with a squeegee that had a plastic handle. The plastic failed making it unusable on a pole after only the second use. This one comes with metal where it attaches to the pole so shouldn't fail in the same way.

Product description states that there are standard threats. The one I received was smooth where I would attach it to a pole.

This one just works out of the box. Nice to have an extra piece of rubber so I expect this to last a long time. Handle was comfortably long enough to use (on first floor windows) without needing an extension. Used it to wash my several house windows that were at least 30" wide by 50" tall and it did a great job and saved a lot of time.

Cleaning your windows is incredibly easy. I can do the whole house in 30 minutes, inside and out. I use a 12" extension so I can reach top of window without ladder.
