This SD Card Reader works as describe, unfortunately in my case it does work because I have too many antenna sticking out of my computer to use it! My bad! I will be buying their other product that reads the card from the 'butt end' or the stick instead of the side of the stick... I have a Keyboard and mouse antennae sticking in the way.... lol Someone I know will be a small gift in their stocking.I would recommend this stick to anyone who does not have two antenna on the PC!

I bought the uni SD Card Reader to transfer photos from my camera to my computer. The speed is impressive; transferring large files is quick and efficient. However, the build quality is disappointing. After a few uses, the device started to feel loose, and the connection became unstable. It's frustrating when you're in the middle of a transfer, and the connection drops.The device gets noticeably warm during use, which raises concerns about its longevity. While it hasn't failed completely, I worry about its durability over time. For a product that's supposed to be portable and reliable, these issues are significant drawbacks.

Having purchased a new mac computer, I didn't pay too much attention to its ports which was unfortunate because my cameras all use some variation of microSD cards and I was used to having a port in the computer to plug into. Then I discovered this little card adapter and it works great! I have less issue in the computer finding the cards and they are read flawlessly. It was a delight to find a simple solution to a small problem.

Great storage and transfer option for data. This vendor is quick to deliver product and I have had no issues with it in the entire time I've owned it. Sometimes I'll purchase an item like this and I'll end up with corrupt files or it will quit altogether. Not this time. Thanks a bunch!
