This set works pretty perfect for my Jetta. I will say there is slight indents if I tighten them too much but they pop back out. I will say, wash sand off your kayak first because if it's on it it will run off and end up under the pads and scratch.

These are good, and after some modifications I can use them for two kayaks, but they don’t originally go all the way across the car. But it works great so far.

These pads are made of good quality matertial and are super easy to install. Was able to attach them to my car and load my kayak in a matter of minutes. They include a storage bag and all the straps needed to keep your kayak safe and secure. I like the ratchet pulley ropes which I didn't find it on other roof pads .The soft pads are constructed very well, I'm happy with my purchase.

This product is very nice but 1 out of 2 of the front and back tie hooks are defective. I returned them only to find the same issue. I am so glad it came apart prior to driving as this would have detached while driving….there is no lip on one peg on both sets I received.

Use this with my 2020 VW Jetta. I didn’t want to have a permanent rack on my car and this has been a great alternative.What I love about this soft roof rack is its versatility. These were the best option for the price and worked ok but didn't stay in place and I wouldn't trust the straps it comes with to hold the Kayak in place. I used extra ratchet straps. It did the trick overall but I wish it was more secure on the roof rails.
