I have an electrical sub panel breaker box in my garage that runs my freezers and my well pump.I am going to use this selector switch to be able to select the power to that panel from either the house main breaker box, or from an input plug box where I can plug a 220vac cord from my generator. This will isolate the breaker box so there is no chance of back-feeding when selecting the generator.This switch has a very solid feel when selecting one of the three positions. The plastic box is also rigid and does not have a flimsy feel I have seen in other boxes. The box has some knockouts available and comes with some rubber boots to help seal the wire inlets.The switch body is very robust and has good size screw clamp type terminals.Recommended.

The box is way too small to fit the wires but the switch works great

The box is too small and there is no space for wiring. After connect the wires, I can’t turn the knob and switch cannot work. It’s a bad choice for my RV, no instruction manual.There’re serious defects in the internal structure of the switch It’s a dangerous product.
