This tool made removing valve spring so much easier than using a standard spring compressor. I could bet the exhaust valves with the standard unit. The spark plugs on Hondas are in the top of the head, and the tubes were in the way. Wish I had this for the intake side, too!Great product for the price point. Overnight delivery, free. Easy to adjust and simple to use.

I've owned several of these, this one offers huge adjustable span from very small to long valve stem, great leverage. Very very good value.

Well when I first used it, the weight of it made it difficult to balance while trying to keep it straight at the same time so it wouldn't bend my valve. The tool is so rickety that it won't hold the spring straight, it constantly wants to wobble around. Huge pain in the butt!! Second time i used it, this happened. The picture shows the tool stuck over my valve seater and spring. I had to beat it off with a hammer. Not sure if valves are even usable anymore. I did better with my home made tool. Take a C clamp and a die grinder. Use the grinder to cutting out a notch big enough to work with. Hopefully you get the picture I'm painting...Not sure if this company will refund me or not as some time has went by since purchasing it.
