These adapters worked great on multiple electric fan conversion projects. Just pair with an appropriately threaded themal switch

This fits inside the top radiator hose for a electric fan controlled thermostat. Remove a part of the hose and insert the coupler.

Can't really complain since it isn't designed for salt water. I wish I could find one in stainless or brass. If you use it in salt, be prepared to change it out every couple of years.

Nicely made, beautiful finish. Very helpful for older vehicles to install an electric cooling fan.

If you want to install a water temperature gauge because the in dash gauge stops working, you can't just wire it to the temperature sender in the engine block. That sends information to your car's computer to adjust fuel and air flow at warm up. You need to use the sender that comes with the new gauge and you need a place to screw it into. You can use the engine drain plug, probably with an adaptor or you can use this. You have to cut the hose from the radiator to the thermostat, then this clamps right in. Easy solution to a confusing problem. If you're worried, get a new hose as well to have the old one as a back-up if you have problems. I doubt if you do, though.

Installed with blue gasket maker on hose. No leaks and temp gauge is very accurate. I like they had it in blue since my whole engine is anodized blue

I ordered a 32mm version of this for my Honda but when i went to do the install it felt a little small. I measured with Mitutoyo calipers and it is 30mm not 32 despite being clearly marked as 32mm.
