I used this to replace a pump in my Kenmore HE3 washer. It was a good fit and it has been used heavily for several days now with good operation. The design is slightly different than OEM; the rear rubber feet actually seem like an upgrade and look like they will absorb shock really well while staying put. The front foot looked a bit flimsy, but I was able to pull off the original rubber/metal spacer through which a screw fixes to the bottom frame. The grey plastic housing differed from what was on the original pump in that more of it is exposed, but i figured not a practical problem since the whole thing sits behind a screw-fixed cover below the washer.

Fixed bad pump (impeller broke off) on Whirlpool Duet steam washer. easy install. Looks a little different than original pump assembly, mine had white plastic housing over motor, but it fit perfect. Glad we are able to get parts for perfectly good appliances rather than buy whole new machine. would have spent more time messing with new install than it took to plug this in and reconnect two hoses and save money.

Original pump motor on Whirlpool Duet washer over heated, resulting in impeller melting and failure to pump water to drain. See photo of impeller. Removed 3 screws from original pump housing and replaced original motor with this unit. All parts fit as they should. Task took about 90 minutes, including clean up of water which spilled from pump housing when motor was removed. Original motor has plastic cover which completely surrounds motor. See photo of original motor assembly. Replacement motor has less "shrouding", allowing better air flow and dissipation of heat. After a wash cycle, the motor was cool to the touch. Overall, a low cost, high quality repair.

Very happy with the new replacement. This replaces the original. Hope to get as long of life out of this one as we did the original. Fitment was correct. It is working properly. Ease of replacement. No leakage in drain pump and is working well.
