Our refrigerator wasn't cooling but the freezer was ice cold. My husband ordered this fan motor and replaced it and it has been working great! This saved us hundreds of dollars on a repairman or even the purchase of a new refrigerator. I definitely recommend this product!

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. This motor is cheaper than the Frigidaire part but for a reason. It ran really well when I first installed it, now after replacing the evap fan motor, defrost sensor and the motherboard on the fridge, I am looking at a fan slowly turning in the back of the freezer, emitting a dull, low pitched whine. It's on its last leg. Only lasted two months.So you know, Amazon carries the frigidaire brand replacement motor for much cheaper than its listed for on the frigidaire website. At just slightly higher than the price for this motor, it's well worth the improved quality.Save yourself some time and money and buy the frigidaire part first. I haven't gotten mine yet (just ordered it) but I can tell you rolling the dice on that is much better than rolling the dice on this motor.

I purchased this fan for a Kenmore model 111. Motor is a good replacement for the freezer motor but not the fridge fan motor due to its rotation clock wise vs ccw.Reversing polarity will not make it turn the opposite direction. Also be prepared to use your old fa motor connector since they are different.

Do not go cheap and buy this. Although it runs, it does not have the power to bring the fridge down to proper temperature. Buy the more expensive Panasonic one. If you cannot feel a fairly strong breeze while your face is at the freezer opening, it’s junk.
