EDIT: the company contacted me and sent replacement devices, I'm very thankful for them doing that and the replacements work perfectly. Yet again a big thank you to the company for correcting the issue and for the replacements. One works and the other one is having a rave in the mid range area. There's no way to fix it so I guess I'm just gonna have to deal with it and not use it. I had charged them after opening before use and when I used them for the first time it freaked out and I had to turn it off. So yeah, only one worked.

For the price point it's great for detecting EMF near and far fields. It's better quality than j thought it was going to be. They built in battery has been reliable and I can get several hours of use out of it on a full charge. I even left it in a backpack turned on over night and it was still on the next day and worked great even with a low battery. I indicator lights are very bright but may be a little too bright for some users if you're in a dark room for "ghost hunting". it's simple to use as it only has one button to push to turn on and off. So if you're ona budget this emf detector is a great value.

testing around my house I observed safe levels of radiation except within 12 inches of the wifi and the outside electric smart meter, which were at the maximum danger level. Creating my own science project, I tested one of the shungite pyramids I have placed beside all my smart devices. When placing the shungite between the emf meter and the wifi router, the levels read as safe. The shungite was not powerful enough to change the reading on the outside electric smart meter.Fyi shungite works like a lightening rod. It neutralizes the harmful effects of smart devices. This emf reader proved 2 things, some smart devices emit dangerous effects, and second, shungite works

Okay, who has yet to watch one of those ghost-hunter shows and come away wanting some cool ghost-hunter gear? Well, I have, and based on the programs, it's evident that an EMF Meter is the foundational piece of gea When I found this meter, I decided it was time to start building my toolkit. In all seriousness, I plan to use the EMF meter to identify sources of EMF radiation around the house. When I worked for electric utilities, customers would contact my company and ask someone to measure EMF levels in and around their homes. People are afraid of the potential health issues excessive EMF can cause, so I'd go with my company's EMF meter and take readings. In all the years I took readings, never once did I find excessive levels of EMF, either from devices inside the customer's home or from our power lines.Still, I like to be informed about my environment, and I have collected an array of detectors and monitors. Now, I've added an EMF meter to my lineup. Unlike my other devices, this meter is passive and only detects EMF when I activate it. Thoughtfully, the meter manufacturer supplies a log sheet where I can record readings from just about every imaginable household appliance and gizmo.I like the meter's simplicity of use: point it at something using power, press and release the button, and watch the LEDs to determine the EMF level. Easy, peasey! When done, please press the button again to turn it off. The User Sheet (it's not a manual but a single page) tells me to take readings from several distances until green LEDs illuminate. That marks the limit of negative levels of EMF radiation. In my testing so far, the meter must be right next to something to measure a level high enough to light the yellow LED. That's comforting as I rarely snuggle up to any electric device besides my phone. So why give the meter a five-star rating? The instruction sheet is one reason. I don't suppose the device needs much explanation, but clearer instructions and a little theory of operation would be helpful. For example, the sheet says that the LED will be a steady red when charging. What it doesn't say is where the LED can be found. I thought they meant one of the detection-level LEDs, but I eventually discovered it was a tiny LED next to the USB-C port. I missed it because it doesn't turn on right away. The other reason is that the detector feels flimsy, and something loose inside the case rattles when I use it. However, when all is said and done, the meter meets my needs, and if you have a hankering to learn about EMF levels or track down a ghost, this is a nice tool to accomplish both goals.

Doesn’t seem to work for me. Nothing gives me an EMF reading so not sure it works. Missed the return window.

Weather or not you found a ghost,It does pickup electromagnetic energy accurately.
