It’s very heavy. Coarse texture that I can’t even wipe down. My pancakes come out horrible that I have to use a different pan. Basically I can only heat up tortillas and the heat is not distributed evenly. Wasted my money! Buying original product from Whirlpool now.

Heavy duty cast iron. Not aluminum. Heats up great. Could be a little smoother finish.

After two seasoning bakes using a very thin coating of Grapeseed Oil and baking it two times for 40 minutes at 450 degrees, I've got a nice polymerization of oil on the griddle surface. This is how I would expect to season a cast iron pan and is no different than seasoning one of those. I am very satisfied with the quality and as long as I keep it seasoned, it'll reward me with years of PTFE free non stick goodness.

Not having a lot of luck getting it to season. It comes loose when I cook in it.

True cast iron griddle that is the exact size and shape of the awful painted aluminum griddle that came with my new Kitchenaid gas range.
