I love this gadget. I used to shred my chicken and pork using two forks, which is messy and time consuming. This does the trick in a fraction of the time. The innovative spinning top is a great feature. I really like how the inner tray is removeable, so you can just dump the shredded meat out. There are three rubber areas in the base (see picture), which helps prevent the device from slipping on the counter while you are spinning it. It all disassembles with ease for cleaning and even comes with a convenient cleaning brush. I will certainly put this to use a lot to shred chicken and pork.There are only two things I can think of that would improve it:1. The inner (removable) plastic tray is a little difficult to line up the holes with the spikes in the base. It only fits in one way. There are arrows to assit with lining them up, but they are difficult to see.2. I wish either the base, or cover, had more area room for larger portions of meat. I've only shredded chicken breasts so far (they were thick), and I had to sort of squish them in the base to use the shredder., but I still easily give this 5 stars!* I meant to take the lid off and snap a picture of the shredded chicken but forgot to do so. My apology!

OMG I love this thing! I'm getting older, my hands and arms hurt when I shredded chicken or pork with forks. Not with this! Took just a minute, cooked chicken in boiling water, took it out, threw one breast in at a time based on size and away we went. Worked like a dream! Never going back to forks!!

This is great, if you have somewhere in your kitchen to store it I say get it! I’ve seen/heard of a lot that aren’t shredding very well but this one shreds really well and it’s easy to clean. It comes with a brush. I found that it stayed in place nicely while using it. I tried it on both my quartz and wood countertops. I’ve been wanting something like this for a while and I’m glad that I got it. It works really well and was easy. My mum tried it too and she loved it, she’s got arthritis in her hands and this made shredding chicken easier for her.

This chicken shredder works very well and is very useful. Anyone can use it and it does not take a lot of physical force to use. I find it to be very useful for meal prepping because it makes rationing the chicken much easier. It can also be very useful if you want to make any sort of chicken dip!

Maximum 2 breasts, but ideally only 1 at a time, cut in half and placed accordingly. 3 stars for the following short-comings:1. There is no shredding nub on the outside perimeter, so one still needs to use a tool and re-shred after moving product around.2. While the cleaning brush is nice, it is narrow and rather insufficient for a good cleaning.3. Handles are SUPER difficult to insert, and are also not removable.4. The insert tray, which is a lovely and an inarguably necessary feature, must be aligned just right, and can be a bit tricky to re-insert, slowing down the shredding of multiple breasts.5. Really, really cheap plastic. This will break if dropped, and is not dishwasher safe.

It was much bigger than I was originally expecting it to be. The lid isn't very tall so you do have to flatten the chicken down a bit in order to spin it so that it shreds properly.I would also recommend putting it on some sort of stable countertop because it can slide around - you need to almost hold it with one hand for it to stay in place. If you're looking for something easy and cheap this works, but in terms of ease of use there are probably better models out there.
