I love this dog bowl, it is simple to use and keeps Rover from gulping down his chow like he hasn't eaten in weeks, many times I have observed my dog choking down his eats and wolfing it down so fast he chokes and sometimes spits up some as it isn't even chewed up! I talked to my vet doc and she suggested this type of feeding bowl to slow him down a little because now he must root about and eat smaller potions as this bowl design like a jig saw puzzle means that the food is broken up into different areas!

Gotta a fast eating dog? Then one of these bowls may help!The good: Decent design, definitely slows fast eaters. Should have your pup working a little to enjoy their meal. The 2 cup design should be good for dogs up to 25 lbs max, gotta bigger dog? Go with the 4 cup size.The bad: I don’t know what Amazon means when rating for “suction powerâ€, this bowl isn’t designed at all to suction anything. Anti-slip design, they say it is but forget it, it doesn’t work on hard surfaces. It comes with rubber feet you have to push on. I wouldn’t trust those with any dog, they will come off and curiosity will have them eating them in no time, don’t use them for younger dogs / over curios dogs (put bowl on a mat). Also, Better designed bowls have an “arch†or cutout on the bottom sides of the bowl to aid in picking up the bowl when it’s on the floor. it’s not hard to pickup at all, but if you’ve had a bowl with this design before, you immediately notice. Again not a big deal, but this is a review right!!??The what the heck: I see a lot of complaints “cheap plastic, my dog / puppy chewed the bowlâ€. If your dog is already a chewer, is teething, yes this is made of plastic and they will probably chew this too?Overall it’s a good enough design at a price that lets you see if it helps slow your fast eaters, it gets the job done if on a budget.

My dogs have always scarfed their food down like their lives depended on it. Not anymore. These bowls slow them down enough so they can get an actual taste of their food before it gets gulped down. These bowls are perfect depth too. Deep enough to really do their job, but shallow enough that the dogs can still reach the last few bits in the bottom. The dogs might hate them, but they were a great buy, imo! Also, they come with little rubber bumpers to insert in the bottom and keeps the bowls from sliding all over, which is a great plus. Very nice quality for the money.

It’s a sturdy hard plastic bowl. It’s not hard tobfill and my dog doesn’t have a problem eating from it, although it did slow down his eating from gulping down his dinner in 1-2 minutes, the feeder bowl actually slowed him to 4 minutes….🤣😂. Easy to clean and larger than I expected.

At first the dog looked at it funny, then looked at us to see if we were serious. Our dog gulps its food and we needed to slow it down, this bowl does the job very well . Its made out of polypropylene, not the best material but it does have a non porous finish so it’s easy to clean. It will not be able to go in the dishwasher though. But overall I like it.

Having a puppy that eats like a vacuum this is a great solution to slow her down. It’s better for her health and stimulation.
