The adapter works fine with a laptop/computer but because Apple disabled the use of connecting an SD card to your phone after the latest update, it isn’t possible to use with your phone unfortunately. Other than that, it works just like how it’s supposed to.

This device does exactly one thing - reads an SD card. It is so simple that the SD card doesn't even "click in" and lock and then eject when you "click in" again. It is held in place with friction. For me that is fine as I don't use it that much, if you are using it a lot you might want the "click in" feature. Works to transfer files from my laptop to 3D printer.

Bought this to use for my deer/trail cam cards. Works fine. No app to download. Just click on "files" app on iphone and browse and it should have an "untitled" or "unknown" option, click on that and it should pop up a folder with the files from the card and you can swipe through and see all photos. Had a wildgame card reader that worked great also, you did have to download an app for that but with new phone the connection was different so I could no longer use. Got this and it works great.

literally didn’t work. awful quality. when I received it i went to plug it in and it just didn’t work? i’ve used these before so i know it wasnt a user error. major bummer

I had no idea these exsited until a friend told me. I needed an easy way to upload to an app on your phone from my SD card from my camera. This makes it SO much easier to upload to apps for our softball team to see all pictures.

I purchased this so I can transfer files from my camera to my Mac Mini. I could plug my camera up to my computer and use Image Capture, but sometimes there are failures when transferring large amount of files. This dongle resolved that issue.

It literally doesn't work at all. I have a Samsung S24 and it wouldn't work - even after I checked that my phone was otg compatible. It feels flimsy as well and I thought I was going to break my sd card when I slotted it in. Don't bother!
