I used these to save a vintage Vornado fan motor. The front bronze bushing had exhausted its oil supply and was toast and the shaft was severely worn down at the bearing contact surface. I mounted this on the front of the motor where it contacts the shaft where it protrudes and there is no wear on that part of the shaft. The bearings are precise enough for this motor application , which spins at around 1000rpm approx. Please note that the bearing shields look like plastic but are actually metal covered in a thin layer of plastic or butile rubber.Regarding bearing alignment , you can swivel these bearings in their housing. So if they look crooked they are not defective. Stick a rod in and roughly straighten them up; then they will further straighten out to automatically perfectly align with your application when you tighten down the mounting fasteners...

Nice little pillow bearings, however they are TIGHT in their case and do not allow for much play/wiggle. Must ensure everything is lined up precisely

I've had a problem with these becoming misaligned after a short period of use. They start titling. So make sure you only use these on light applications. I had a problem with unscrewing the tiny bolts all the way accidentally - they hit the ground and are gone. There are no extras, so be careful. It weirdly says that it comes with 4 allen wrenches. I don't need four. But it also doesn't come with 4. So if you're buying this because you need 4 allen wrenches... be advised they aren't in the package. Just one. So overall - a little bit of a shoddy product - at least the price matches the quality.
