This product was affordable and did a great job for my needs. We live on a dirt road in the Midwest, that means we always contend with rust on our vehicles. I had to cut off the prior steps on my truck and used the tool to clean the threads of the mounting studs so I could put new steps on. Fit perfectly in a 22mm socket, centered itself on each stud, did not bind with use. I put penetrating oil on each stud and cleaned them as well as I could before using this die. It is a quality product in my eyes

I messed up some threads in a hard-to-reach spot and this little tool was able to get in that spot and repair the threads. Five stars. ðŸ‘

Thread pitch does not meet a M6 x 1.0. Used it for cleaning up threads on bolts. Found it was cutting new threads (tighter pitch) on the bolt.

Used this to clean the paint off of the studs to mount my side steps on our truck. Worked perfect!
