Amazingly, they are not bad, especially considering their very low cost.0 to 500C the meter is 1 degree or more in accuracy. K-thermocouple wire is typically 2.2C accuracy. So, +- 3 to 3.2C accuracy is what you can expect to see.

It’s actually a pretty nice lil unit. I was a little disappointed that it can’t disolay in Fahrenheit.

Works good, using as a way to monitor the temperature on my motorcycle due to the temp gauge going south. Does the job, only wish it read Farinheight vs Celsius.

REVISED review - Seller apologized for description errors and provided a partial refund. Very friend communications. Thank you.The probe information is not correctly described in the product details. The probe that comes with the thermometer is tp01 good to 204 C or 399 F. The description leads one to believe the probe reads up to 1300 C or 2372 F - the digital thermometer would read this high with a different probe. Watch the descriptions closely. The correct probe for reading 1300 C will cost me an additional $18 plus shipping. I need a high temperature probe.

The only reason this unit (uxcell LCD K-Type Digital Thermometer TM-902C W Thermocouple Wire) got a 2 was because it worked ... mostly. I was happy they sent a 9V battery along. It would have been spiffy if the battery, once it was attached to the plug, would have actually FIT in the compartment that it was designed to fit in. A shoe horn won't even work to get it in. I'll use duct tape ... which I forgot to order. And the thermocouple wire connector isn't quite up to par - I have to jiggle the connection with the unit to keep it working. Once the battery is taped in, and if I don't fuss with the thermocouple wire it's GREAT ... as long as I don't mind a 3C offset to the temperature.
