Max watt states 30w... Used a 3w led bulb for maybe 45 minutes total and it melted the very first night!Could have caused a fire!! Extremely poor quality!

So we don't have a power outlet on our front porch, which is incredibly annoying. I've seen light bulb outlet adapters before where it turns the light bulb base into a power plug, but before these I had never seen one that still allows you to plug a bulb in. So I jumped on these because I didn't want to have to choose between having a porch light or a power outlet. These do work, my only complaint is that they feel a little delicate/flimsy, so I'm concerned about potential longevity. I'd just recommend taking care when using them.

The socket to receive a medium base bulb is very delicate, thin metal.
