Mat heats nicely then trips the inline breaker! Has happened several times over the past week! Not reliable if you plan to use it often. I purchased it as an outdoor pad for feeding station to keep our stray cat warm while feeding! Cheap Chinese crap…lesson learned you get what you pay for! Buyer beware!!

I returned these not too long after using them. Proved to be more slippery when wet than snow or ice would be otherwise!

The plug was located at the center edge of the mat which I would’ve had to drap it across the side stairs of the porch to plug into the outlet located on the house which would have created a tripping hazard for my elderly parents. Also, I left the mat out on the porch (unplugged) while trying to determine a way it could still be used…after it rained overnight, the mat held little pools of water all over the mat. I returned this product.

These heat as described but create a trip and fall hazard themselves. The plastic is some of the slickest I’ve ever seen. Might be good to heat up a troublesome ice spot, but would serve Kevin McAlester well as a way to make the wet bandits slip and fall on the way up to the house.

I returned these as I thought they were textured and would be non slip. They are smooth plastic and I wouldn’t use them for my parents as I was afraid they would slip and fall on them. I feel my parent’s chances are better on the snow.
