Great composter! I’ve always wanted a countertop composter, but I was hesitant because I didn’t want to deal with fruit flies or bad smells. When I found this composter, I was immediately drawn to its sleek design, you’d never guess what it is just by looking at it! I love that I can turn my old eggshells and veggie scraps into fertilizer, which feels so satisfying.The large capacity is perfect, and the different modes make it super versatile. The “Vego Mode†is a game-changer, letting me add scraps mid-run without restarting the whole process, while “Express Mode†is great for keeping smells to a minimum. I’ve been using “Fertilize Mode†the most, and it’s amazing how quickly it turns waste into garden-ready material. I haven’t tried “Grass Mode†yet, but it’s good to know I have that option for summer next year.It’s incredibly quiet, and I love the app, it makes it easy to track my progress as I’m still new to composting. The only thing to be mindful of is its size. It’s larger than I expected, so I recommend measuring your counter space before buying. Also, the lid is very tight-fitting. I need two hands to open it, which might be a little tricky for someone older or with weaker hand strength.I’ve bought several products from Vego over the years, and they’ve all been super high quality. This composter is no exception. If you’re looking for a sleek, efficient and non-smelly way to compost, I highly recommend it!

Love my kitchen composter,looks so beautiful,super easy to use, convenient,running quiet. It fits great in my kitchen and is a great fertilizer for the garden. I love all of the mode options. the vego mode is my favorite, cannot wait recommend this to my friend who love gardening.

My wife grows a variety of vegetables and fruits in our backyard and frequently visits Home Depot to purchase soil. When I heard about this product that transforms food waste into soil, I was intrigued. After doing some research, I decided to go with Vego, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.I’ve been using this product for a few days, and it’s been fantastic. It’s super quiet, eco-friendly, and effective. Just remember not to put too much oily food in the pot. It has significantly reduced kitchen waste, eliminated bad smells, and saved us both time and money on buying soil. This product has been incredibly helpful and has made a positive difference in our gardening routine!

I was excited to use this product as I've composted my vegetable/plant scraps for years and was hoping to speed this up. Even though this product has multiple modes, it only seemed like there was one - ON. As I travel, I was hoping to use the mode that allows a slow decomposing that allows additions through the week with a standby mode activating every two hours; nope, same method as composting or food grinding - ON. It is easy to clean the non-stick container and supposedly dishwasher safe, but the lid is not easy to open and most will have to use two hands. Lining the interior bin is not always easy and usually took several attempts to line up the pins. While this did grind materials up into a great soil additive, and the odor was minimal, it's not worth $300 to have a machine the size of a microwave going non-stop having a grinding noise in the gears after 2 weeks.

I really love this product, it did not disappoint me. I like its design, which fits perfectly in my kitchen. It’s easy to operate and has no unpleasant odor. This compost bin exceeded my expectations and made food waste disposal so much easier.

The Vego composter is an excellently made product! It has five modes pertaining to different uses for the compost which is super nifty in itself. It also produces no smell and works quietly, only taking about a day to compost and progress as well as your carbon footprint can be tracked on your phone. 10/10 recommend for sure! Keeps our kitchen trash can from smelling too, great to have homemade compost for the garden. Win-Win!
