I bought this as a gift for my brother whooped art and was interested in working with clay and getting into pottery. This was the perfect gift to give him that introduction and to learn. All in all, it was well worth the money spent. Very durable, not too heavy and easy to move/ take with you if need be. The speed was perfect since he was starting out as a beginner and would recommend cleaning after each use with a designated cloth for ease to clean.

I've been using this to polishing the resin dice that I cast and they're coming out so much better than when I was doing it by hand. I am not using this for pottery so the motor strength isn't a huge detractor for me, though I can see where others might be less pleased. Altogether, a good value for the money and I'm hoping to be able to use it for a long time.

it turns when plugged in, but if you try to center clay on it or actually do anything with it it will stop. it also shakes. it’s not worth it. it isn’t very heavy and it isn’t durable. the speed goes decently fast, and it is messier than i expected from a smaller machine.

The unit was smaller than I thought it was going to be. But it seems to work pretty well, if you’re planning to make tiny pottery. I’m going to use it to make spin art.

The ceramic wheels spins easily without any resistance, but as soon as you put clay on the wheel and apply some pressure to form your piece it will either slow down or stop. The controls are logical and easy to operate. the wheel spins in either direction and is fully adjustable. As far as a beginning pottery/ceramics wheel, it's mediocre. I'd suggest you spend your money elsewhere, or level up and get a bigger wheel with a more powerful motor. For a crafting wheel where you tape a paper circle onto the plate and spin it up and color it with markers... I'd rate this a 5... but as soon as you apply any sort of "real" pressure to wheel it slows down and stops spinning completely.

After this item was delivered, I read the reviews and became worried that I had made a poor decision of buying it. First of all, I found a skid-proof surface (shelf liner with bumps on it) to put under this little machine to prevent sliding. Secondly, my first attempt was hilarious because the clay flew all over the place. Now, I have used those thin plastic cutting boards taped with Duct Tape to have a barrier behind my wheel and work space. Both of these ideas made it possible for me to throw four little pots. I have a lot of experience throwing on a wheel. I am not a professional by any means but this is NOT a toy nor is it for beginners. I relied on the yellow tools which were included because there is no way my hand or finger can fit inside the tiny item I was making! Also, the amount of clay and type is important. I used a white clay with little grog in it. My clay amount was the size of a walnut or slightly larger. I rolled it in a symmetrical ball and pushed that ball in the center of the wheel on a damp surface, as centered as I could make it. Then, I turned the wheel on to the highest speed and rather than centering the clay in the traditional manner (any extreme pressure slows this little wheel) I used a small trimming tool to get my ball of clay symmetrical and centered. The above made for success these two times I've tried using it. It's SO MUCH FUN! Oh yeah, shaping the bowl and trimming it was done with a slower speed as not to throw the bowl off center!

I use this to polish resin dice so it doesn't mess up my arm doing it by hand. It's a powerful little box, to be sure, and gives me great results.

I purchased this for my grandson. He is autistic and loves the sensation of using it. It was "satisfying" as he put it. His younger sister loves it also. It is durable and a really nice, especially for the price.

Bought as a christmas gift, the return window had closed by the time the person had actually opened and tried the wheel so was only left with customer service as a refund option. The second any pressure at all is applied the wheel completely stops moving, I don't expect a huge amount of power - but even a single finger lightly touching it is enough to stop it moving completely.Reported the issue to customer service who asked for a video showing the issue, then said they would contact the manufacturer (Vevor is obviously just rebadged rubbish from a cheap manufacturer)Have waited 2 months now and still no reply, when I bumped the email a month ago I got no reply either.Avoid.

Ich konnte die Scheibe nicht zum Töpfern nutzen, da sie zu klein war.Die Rücksendung lief allerdings super.
