The Viltrox BP-V150 V mount is my first v-mount battery. I bought the battery pack to make my location video shoots more portable and to use for charging my electronic devices when on location or travel.I used the battery on a 50 watt RGB LED panel light at 100% power and and the battery lasted over 3.5 hours. Completely exceeding my expectations. Currently, I was using Sony NP-F batteries and could only get a little over an hour using two NP-F970’s.The battery also works great with my Amaran 60x with a much smaller, easier profile than the NP-F970’s.In addition, I tested my v-mount battery pack by using it to charge my 11 inch iPad Pro. It took a little over 2.5 hours to fully charge, which was a reasonable amount of time considering the larger size of the device.Power can be delivered by the contact pins on the bottom of the unit, (2) D-tap connections on either side, USB and USB-C. Leaving plenty of options to accommodate most video or electronic devices.One feature that stood out to me was the battery's ability to display how much power is being used or delivered while in use. This real-time feedback was helpful in managing the energy consumption and planning accordingly.

I got this v-mount battery mainly because of it's relatively small form factor when compared to other equally powerful batteries. The slightly "rounded" back helps when mounting it to gimbals and other types of stabilizers somehow facilitating tilt movements.The power level indicator seems to be precise in relation to the actual amount of juice remaining in the battery. Some batteries out there often show a certain amount of power and then all of a sudden they die. This is not the case with this one.The color is actually nice and gives it a sort of cool factor and makes the whole setup visually lighter, but on the other hand, it kills any sort of "stealth" intention one might have when shooting gorilla style or on the road. It may draw unwanted attention at times.The USB ports are quite useful not only to power multiple accessories connected to the camera but also to double as a regular power bank to charge whatever you have on you, like a tablet, phone, etc. Also, it is strong enough to power up some light fixtures that require more powerful batteries to work.Very good product overall!

The Viltrox BP-V50 is a universal V-type battery for powering video equipment or almost anything due to the versatile ports it provides. This includes:two D-TAP input/output ports (one on right, one on left side)one BP input/output port (bottom)one USB-A output port (top)one USB-C input/output port (top)The battery can be charged via the D-TAP, BP or USB-C ports but the instructions caution that you should charge via only one input at a time otherwise you will cause it to overheat. The battery does not come with cables or adapter. I like using the USB-C port to do quick charging with a PD 45W adapter I already own. While charging, you can monitor via the LCD screen that shows power level and the battery voltage and current. While you are charging via USB-C, there is no output via the USB-A so that the battery charges up faster. After that, this can function as a pretty handy 50Wh power station for devices that need the older USB-A style port.The battery quick charges in less than 2 hours, is palm-sized and has a universal V-mount in the back so it is a handy battery to power up a camera or monitor for your video rig. It provides many optional output ports so it can function as a handy travel battery, as well.

Really nice V mount battery at a decent price!Came packed well, and shipped fast!Build quality is super solid and the screen is a really nice feature for monitoring battery life.Comes with a bunch of different outputs, for tons of versatility.Can be charged via USB-C as well, for even more versatility/charging while on the road.Nice size as well, and it doesn't feel super heavy considering the life that I've gotten out of it.I also really like the color (all of my other v mounts are black) and I feel like it makes my gear look a tad bit cooler.

This is a fairly standard V-mount battery. It's on the modern side of things by including a USBC charge port instead of just Dtap.It charges up fully and holds the charge very well. It discharges at a rate similar to other similarly sized V-mount batteries that I have.Good value as well.
