The braided leather cord seems pretty lightweight with some thin areas. The bottom end of metal seem be be fairly heavy and not light enough to clank together with a brassy sound, which is good. The center piece appears to be real turquoise with a couple small red stones (or glass chips) located on the front as well overall the clasp seems sturdy and feels durable - not cheap. There is a sharp curl near the end of the leather cord from the packaging but should work out in a few days. Note . I had it hanging in my closet with the fastener all the way down and they are now almost perfectly straight.Overall I would purchase again if the leather turns out to be stronger that it appears. A nice looking addition when you don’t want to wear a tie but still want to be a little more dressy than an open collar shirt.

Solid, feels much more expensive. Thong is woven and pretty stiff. Softens with no noticeable ill effects or wear.

It was much bigger than expected but I still like it. It is made very well and for that price you can't beat it. It's all solid with a nice solid slide clasp on the back. It came in a nice black velvet satchel. The leather cord is stiff and coiled but working it out fixes it. It is also very nickle shiny which I don't like. Tie ends are heavy to hold it down well. The only things I would change would be a little smaller and less shiny but all in all it was a good purchase.

Pendant is nicely done, the cord is stiff plastic and is twisted so the pendant does not lay flay, will have to redo and use a different cordwould not buy again even through the pendant is good, if one wanted to wear out of the box, would not be able to do so... poor workmanship
