The battery cover for the original fob became loose. It would randomly reset when the battery would make a connection. And all day long, my keys would start playing the tune it plays when the battery connects. Makes it very awkward in meetings. This was almost the exact replacement. It works perfectly well. Just follow the instructions on pairing it with your alarm on your vehicle.

Very easy to follow instructions for programming, took me less than to sync with my alarm. I purchased an additional unit as a back up. Great buy, called my local alarm installer, they want double the price of this unit .

excellent Replacement i purchased followed instructions on how to pair I went to you tube for video on how to pair you can look it up first leave door open turn on key leave key on push the button on alarm and push again led blinks hit the remote lock side hear the cherp turn key off check remote make sure key is out everything should be working fine .... it worked for me im a happy camper

Purchased this 2-way remote and 2-way control module antenna, and converted my Viper to a 2-way alarm system.----------------The following Learn Routine can be used to program this replacement transmitter/remote control to the system::In order to enter the Learn Routine, the system's Valet/Program switch must be plugged into the BLUE port.1. Door. Open a door.2. Key. Turn the key to the ON position.3. Choose. Within 5 seconds press and release the Valet/Program button the number of times corresponding to selected channel listed below.After you have selected the channel, press the Valet/program button once more and hold it. The LED flashes the same number of times as the channel selected and the siren chirps to confirm the selected channel. DO NOT release the valet/ program button.4. Transmit. I purchased a Viper remote replacement on Amazon November 1, 2021 from Sound of Tri-State, Inc. 333 NAAMANS RD STE 41, CLAYMONT, DE, 19703-2808. This was the worst seller I have ever experienced on Amazon.I attempted to return this Viper Remote replacement 7345V. When I followed the Seller’s instructions to pair this device with my automobile’s Viper the lock button would lock but unlock button did nothing, the LED indicated my alarm was NOT engaged and vehicle-shock like a break-in attempt yielded no alarm. I contacted the seller to return the item. The seller refused to refund because seller had fraudulently described the item posted on Amazon as UNRETURNABLE because it contained noxious gasses. There are no such gasses in any auto-remote! The seller claimed that I MUST take the item to a qualified Viper installer. I have owned Vipers on my autos for decades and never had difficulty replacing a broken or worn-out remote. Online I found a Viper manual. The Seller’s DIRECTIONS install the remote paired in the VALET mode. I followed the manual’s installation and the device paired perfectly. Instead of preparing correct directions for product installation the seller developed a solution to too many returns by placing a fraudulent claim in product description to retain sales and resist the flood of returns. I will never buy from this Seller again and recommend Amazon bar them from trading on Amazon.
