For reference: I have an adult female Siamese cat who is slightly fluffy, and size medium fit perfectly. My sweet kitty, Pearl, had an awful sore on her neck/face area that she wouldn’t/couldn’t leave alone. Poor thing kept scratching it raw. We got this cone to keep her from irritating it further and it works exactly as described. It’s not a hard material, and it velcros together. Of course as a cat who is already cross/eyed, she was very confused and ran into things while getting adjusted to wearing it. We took it off while at meal times so she could eat, doctored her sore, and put it right back on. Also took it off while she slept at night. But within a day or two, the sore was already healing and scabbing up. I was concerned that since the sore was on her neck, having the cone near it may irritate it further, but the material where it wraps around their neck is soft and slightly padded, so there were no issues there. Very glad I purchased this and highly suggest it to anyone needing a kitty cone.

The *Vivifying Cat Cone* is an excellent choice for small cats, kittens, and even rabbits! This adjustable recovery pet cone is lightweight, making it much more comfortable for pets to wear compared to traditional, heavier cones. The 6.1-inch size is perfect for small pets, and the black color adds a sleek, discreet look. What stands out about this cone is its adjustability, which ensures a secure fit without being too tight or uncomfortable. It’s made from durable yet lightweight plastic, which provides the necessary protection for your pet’s recovery, whether after surgery or an injury, while not feeling too cumbersome. The edges are smooth, reducing irritation or discomfort, and it’s easy to put on and remove.Overall, the *Vivifying Cat Cone* is a great choice for pet owners looking for a comfortable and effective recovery collar. It’s well-made, functional, and does a great job keeping your pet from licking or scratching sensitive areas. Highly recommended for small pets in need of a gentle yet secure recovery solution!

This is a pretty nice little device to use. It's put together great, durable fabric and the velcro is adjustable,my kitty is tiny 5lbs. I've not used it as of yet due to her sleeping, she had surgery, got fixed so once I put it on I'll update my opinion. Thanks.

We tried 3 other cones on my cat—a fabric one that was so easy for him to get off it was laughable, and one we bought from Petco which was more heavy and made him miserable & walk like his head weighed 20 lbs (not to mention expensive!) Thai one was so cheap in comparison I did not have high hopes, but it was the best for several reasons!1) it is very lightweight, but still sturdy without being stiff and uncomfortable.2) The velcro closure makes it very easy to get on & also adjust to fit if necessary. (my cat has around a 9in neck circumference and we did the Velcro so that it didn’t completely overlap to give him a little more whisker & eating room.3) The Velcro is super strong and stays put.4) The inner and outer edges of the cone are coated in thick(ish) fabric so it is more comfortable—no plastic edges irritating or potentially digging into their neck.5) It actually stays on! Only once in over a week did he get it off and it was because he crawled in between two large bass guitar cases and the collar must have gotten stuck between them so he had to pull himself out of it. The rest of the time he hasn’t even been trying to get out of it so that speaks for itself!6) My cat got used to this cone relatively quickly and was acting like his chipper playful self in a short time with it on. The other cones just made him lay there like he was depressed, or got in the way when he tried to do all kinds of basic things like eat or use the restroom even. 7) Even with all of those positive things it still did it’s job hitch was to keep him from licking his stitches—& believe me he tried. He eventually accepted that the only part of himself he could reach to lick was the last few inches of his tail. All in all this cone was fantastic, & the fact that it doesn’t make my cat miserable makes me love it even more!

Much easier to deal with than the one from the vet and lighter. However the velcro piece is large and when taking it off each time my cat freaked out from the noise.

This is the only cone I could find that could keep my cat away from his hind leg amputation incision! He would use the sharp edge of the standard one from the vet to scratch at his further stitches (and that one also requires tying a knot around their neck, which made me so nervous), and a softer one I bought wasn’t deep enough and he was able to get around it to lick the stitches.Pros: see through, Soft edges, Velcro, Cone depthCons: none

I always read reviews before I buy anything online and I thought, from what I saw, that this cat cone would work for my girl. She has allergies that make her extremely itchy, and without a cone on, she’ll lick and rip her fur out in patches, to the point where she’s red, raw, and bleeding. We’ve tried other cones on Amazon that have worked for her, but decided to try this one out because her last one was too soft and kept flipping backwards giving her too much access to scratch. This cone, no matter how tightly fastened, continuously fell off and she ripped herself apart worse than ever before. The stiffness of the plastic also dug into her neck while trying to eat making her choke herself multiple times. We ended up getting one from our local petco that has been much better for her. I usually don’t like to leave bad reviews, but seeing my baby so uncomfortable and in pain due to this cone was horrible.

I got these to replace the plastic collars that clip onto the cats collars that the vet provided after my kittens were spayed as they found those collars uncomfortable. One of the kittens was able to get this new collar off so had to have the vet one put back on. The other kitten didn’t fight the new collar and found this one much more comfortable than the one the vet provided. These are also a lot easier to get on and off for feeding time.

This is a really great quality product overall. The only issue for us is there is a large sticker directly on the collar rather than on packaging that was extremely hard to remove (soaked/scrubbed it). The kitten needs to be able to see while wearing this.

Useless product. Has three stickers that has glue so old on them that you cannot remove them. Don’t waste your money.

Be careful, the medium size is really small, better for cats not dogs

Height is too small for the cat. Cat can still scratch its wound. Size M. It serves no purpose
