I use the shelf to hold my keyboardmouse for my simracing rig. It is the correct height while in the rig's seat, has enough surface space for everything needed and is very sturdy. Folds down nice and stores out of the way. I recommend this for all simracers who don't have another bolt on shelf assembly.

Easy to use and works well for me. It allows me to easily switch from sitting to standing and back again. Since I’m working from home because of the pandemic, I frequently switch from sitting to standing. The platform has enough room for my long keyboard (which includes a number pad on the side) and a mousepad and mouse. There is space for a coaster and a mug, as well.Of course, it takes up more room on my desk that the keyboard and mouse alone, so if I want to write down notes using a notepad, I’ve got less room on my desk, but I’ll work around that. The platform is too heavy and bulky for me to move from my desk when I’m not using it in a raised position, but if you have room, you could move it when not using. I like that it is heavy and bulky - it feels sturdy when it is raised. I wouldn’t lean my weight on it, but it feels solid nothing flimsy or cheap]. I’m glad I chose this product over the cheaper options.

It's really hard to find the perfect standalone keyboard stand. This may be the best option. It's the ideal size and It's much more stable than I expected even when raised to the highest position. There is virtually no play. However, in the down position, the top surface does have a little rock which I find annoying. Also, the height in the down position is a bit too high for me at 2" when seated. So, I remove the whole stand from the desktop when not in use. It's light enough for me to do this without much difficulty. However, when you lift up the stand to move it, the height setting disengages and the whole thing collapses down. So, every time you move it, you have to reset the height which is a finicky process. The design should have included a lock to secure your height setting in place. My solution was to add a 1/2" x 1/2" x 7" strip of wood in the base track channel. This locks it into the highest position possible. This 7" strip gives me a 15" high surface. This is 2" higher than the internal stop affords. I'm 6'-4" and need this extra height and the wood strip adds extra assurance that the top won't disengage. The only other minor quibble is the quality of the top surface which feels economy grade for the price. The surface shows fingerprints and the edges would have been nicer if they were beveled or rounded more. It would have been great if the top surface was a more durable solid surface material rather than thin laminated MDF board.

overall, I'm very impressed with this Vivo keyboard and mouse riser. With the transition to working from home, I was looking for a lower-cost option to buying a standing desk. I have a good tiltable monitor, and really just needed a way to lift my keyboard and mouse for standing. I've been using this for a bit over a week now, and am very happy with the way it works. It's easy to raise up and has about an adjustment per inch. I liked that the wrist rest was not attached, as I'm not a fan of them so I left it off.The only complaint I have is the top surface is very smooth, and my keyboard was sliding around. I fixed it by cutting a piece of the rubber anti-slip drawer liner to fit the top.I would recommend this to anyone looking to convert or keep their existing desk, but still wants the functions of a standing desk.

I'm a big VIVO fan of their ergonomic products. I converted my desk into a sit/stand workstation for less than $500 with three LCD panels and a Mac Mini. The missing element was a nice sturdy keyboard riser (keyboard lift) to bring my keyboard and pointers (mouse, touchpad) to a comfortable level. That's where the "VIVO Black Single Top 27-inch Heavy-Duty Scissors Lift" (VIVO Desk-V000P) caught my attention. As I mentioned, I'm a loyal VIVO user, thanks to a sterling QC reputation, until now.Unboxing was great until I unlocked the top from the base and tried to lift the top (from the edges) into position. Disaster struck when five 1.27cm wood screws simultaneously popped out of the MDF core and the locking mechanism fell away, leaving the scissor assembly without purpose. I never send products back if they can be easily repaired (less hassle, less for the landfill). And this problem is repairable, but I don't recommend it.This QC issue concerns product design and manufacturing. It is fixable, but they'll need to design and add a retainer bracket to strengthen the locking mechanism's grip on the top. Otherwise, it's a brilliant product that adjusts in small enough increments for just about any user. It's heavy, and I think the weight adds to the stability of the product—no wobbling! And you really want that for a workstation.Repair: I cleaned out the old holes of debris, filled the holes with Gorilla glue, let that dry, and then reseated each of the wood screws. The fix works for now, and I plan on raising and lowering the riser infrequently. This QC issue is a big strike in an otherwise pristine VIVO product quality reputation. VIVO... I hope you're reading this. You have one loyal customer who is now wary and watchful.Three negative points for what is a huge QC issue that affects value. There are two negative points because the QC issue negatively affects product sturdiness. But solid 5*'s for comfort. It's great when it works!

Item arrived quickly. Easy enough to set up - pull out of box, place on desk and adjust to desired height. I do like that the wrist rest/keyboard stop isn't pre-glued onto the riser and that the end user can choose to have it either as a stop, wrist rest or not installed at all. Supports a good amount of weight. I have this supporting a 14" laptop and I have, on occasion, found myself leaning a bit on it and it hasn't collapsed or failed.Overall, a great price and a good product for those that suddenly find themselves working from home without a sit/stand desk in their home office.

Stabile und solide verbaute Tastaturerhöhung. Dadurch hat sie ein entsprechendes Eigengewicht. Als Gelegenheitslösung sehr zu empfehlen. Die Verarbeitung der Materialien sind einwandfrei. Zügiger Versand mit ausreichender Verpackung.

This is a great addition for some one with a fixed table height that wants to be able to stand at their desk. Very solid... Takes a little getting practice to set heights & release back to flat. However this is well worth it

This product works just as expected, but fair warning - it's incredibly heavy! I think it needs to be heavy really, as it does lift quite high, so needs to withstand typing and movement. It's a great product though, and definitely worth the price tag for the build quality.
