1.Insert the fitting end into the container you are siphoning from. Aim the other end into where you are siphoning to. please note:
Important step
a.the fluid you are trying to get rid of has to be up HIGHER than the bucket you are flowing into.
b.When you put fitting end into the container( you are siphoning from),must keep it inside of the container not just on the surface.

2. Then, just shake up and down until the liquid begins to flow!

3. Now,you can stop shaking and you will see the liquids flowing out.
4. To stop the flow, remove the fitting end from the liquid and the siphoning will stop.

I received the product in good condition. Rinse before use really sturdy and the diameter of the hose is perfect and has a really strong siphon. Love the product I use it for my aquariums helps me siphon the exact spot I need in my tanks. I recommend it!

I live in the North East and needed to drain my lawn mowers of gas, in preparation for winter storage. There was too much gas in the mowers to allow the engine to run the gas dry, so I purchased this siphon. It worked perfectly. Much better than the bulb style that you continually need to squeeze. Just a few shakes and the gas began to flow.

Works very well. No more mouth fulls of gasoline for me! So easy to use and the large hose diameter drains a gastank much quicker tham my old 3/8" hose.

It doesn’t work for what i need it to. I bought it to clean out my chest freezer and it doesn’t work. I had to jiggle it up and down in a water bottle after several attempts it worked. But trying to do it again in my freezer epic fail. I will be returning it.
