As tool-free, lever-actuated connectors, WAGO's 221 Series Splicing Connectors easily, quickly and safely connect solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors ranging from 24–12 AWG for 221-41x, 20-12 AWG solid for 221-2401 inline.

These make terminations ,and extension of short wires, tons easier than wire nuts, are more reliable, and really help with a crowded box where space is ar a premium.Try them and you will be sold.

I am beyond pleased with the WAGO 221 lever nuts splicing wire connector set. It makes rewiring and running additional piggyback wires so simple even for the occasional DIY homeowner type of person. I recently used this WAGO set to run a new outlet underneath a cabinet for a mini fridge install, and in my case I ran the ROMEX as an end-of-run (vs. mid-run) setup given I did not need to run another outlet beyond this one. The connectors are so simple to use in that you flip the levers open, group your hots, colds, grounds into separate connectors (by each wire type) and add the others hots, colds, grounds as necessary to their respective connectors to suit your needs for running additional power somewhere else. From there, you insert the wires to ensure a snug fit, flip the levers down, tuck away safely, and that's it. The best part about the set is that there are multiple connection numbers (2, 3, 4, 6 wire connections) in this set and the fact that these connectors can handle several different gauges of wires down to I believe 12ga. Which I can confirm that 12ga fits like a glove (not too snug to fit in). If you are running new low voltage electrical for lights or outlets, these WAGO connectors make the job so much simpler, quicker and much cleaner than wrapping wires and adding old school wire nuts which can easily come undone if not secured perfectly to the wires being twisted together. Highly recommend!

These are nice. A lot stronger grip on the wire compared to some of the other brands I've gotten. Strong snap to them and feel a lot more durable. They seem to be a good bit smaller in overall size too so they take up less space.
