It's bigger and WAY heavier than I expected, but it is great. Excellent quality. Feels like it weighs about 5 pounds! The wood base is really nice.

I’d been using a small mortar & pestle set and finally decided to upgrade. This is a really nice set. Great size and quality. I love the weight of the pestle. The wood base is also a great option. This is definitely worth it if it’s something you use regularly.

Wow! What a beautiful Mortar and Pestle, it is quite large and heavy, I’d say it’s about 7 pounds worth of mortar and pestle.It is easy to use, I love the fact that you can slide it without scratching the surface of what it’s sitting on. And with a little effort on your part, it will grind whatever you put in it to the texture you’re looking for.And ladies for those of y’all who do not use this type of equipment, it truly is a piece of art, It sits inside a lovely wooden base with an inlay for the mortar.I currently have it displayed in my dinning room, too beautiful to hide away.

It came package just as described and it is the best mortar and pestle I’ve ever owned. It is well worth the money. I line that it doesn’t slide around in my counter top and the weight of it makes it sturdy to grind spices with. I highly recommend purchasing this it is so worth the price.

Finally, a mortal and pestle that some designed well. Looks terrific, works well, no grit in the food. I just wish it was available in a larger size, but it can certainly make guacamole, hummus, taramasalata, or pesto enough for two or three people.

Wir haben lange nach einem schönen und nicht überteuerten Mörser geschaut und sind bei Waldwerk fündig geworden.Tolle und schwere Qualität. Maserung von Stein und Holz beide sehr schön und passen gut zusammen. Der Mörser wirkt hochwertig und wertet die Küche auf.Der Stößel liegt gut hin der Hand, hat Gewicht, aber ist nicht zu schwer - ideal!Die Größe ist gut geeignet, um auch größere Mengen zu verarbeiten, aber nicht zu groß, um auch mal nur wenige Pfefferkörner frisch zu mahlen.Informatives Heftchen mit Reinigungstipps und Hinweise zur Nutzung gab es noch dazu. Wir sind absolut zufrieden und können den Mörser uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
