After watching the video and reading the reviews, I was skeptical of how this would actually work. But decided to give it a try!It has only rained here about 7 times throughout the summer and into the fall. The biggest drought we’ve experienced in a very long time. So perhaps that contributed to how well this worked.But I planted 88 bulbs in a few hours yesterday. Most of the time I just pushed on it with my foot but a few times I had to jump to get it to go in. No big deal! Once I reached 5 plugs, it started coming out the top so I would dump the dirt into my wheel barrow. I just turned it outside down and it all slid right out. Occasionally the last plug would get stuck but I just pushed it and it slid right out.I could not have planted this many bulbs without this. It made it so fast and easy!It was a little tricky to get the screws together as they were very tight and the tools they provide are very thin and slide around. But once it was together it works perfectly!Very happy with this bulb hole digger and will recommend it to others!Update: after using on wet soil, it still worked just as well. Exactly like the video, all the soil still rolled right out the tube. Very very happy with this purchase. I’ve planted 150 bulbs with it. So easy!

I have lumbar back issues sometimes and still garden often. I just used this a few days ago and it made my planting 57 spring bulbs go fast. Item is constructed well but I would not use it if your soil is wet. I wish there were instructions inside. I eventually figured out the 2" and 4" donut metal rings were to slide onto bottom to cut hole of soil at that depth. You shake the device to get the dirt to release after you have put your bonemeal and bulb in the hole it made. Love it.

Wonderful manual tool for making those annoying holes to plant flower bulbs or those little bunches like small Impatients, basil, etc. It was a little annoying storing the extra rings in a such a way that you know it goes to this tool and not in useful swappable extra parts bin that you won't remember what it was for bin (yes one and the same bin). Was decently priced especially when considering saving my back and knee from strain and pains lol

Best bulb planter I have ever had. Does not bend even in dense turf or if it hits a stone. Sticky clay soil does not come out as easily as drier soil, but that's a problem with all planters.

The tool works great to planting grass plugs, which is the primary reason of my purchase. However, it was disappointing that the nuts and bolts for attaching the handle were not included. I used what I had on hand which as you can see from the photo was not to specks.

The quality seems great, but doesn’t work as expected. The dirt gets stuck in the tube and kinda a pain in the butt.

Man this isn’t just good for bulbs which is why I got it but all plants that need to go in ground. It’s like a pogo stick for adults so be careful balancing, but this is awesom. Wish I had this sooner

Ich habe den Blumenzwiebel Pflanzer zum setzen einer Buchsbaumhecke benutzt. Die wurzelnackten Pflanzen passten super in die mit dem Pflanzer gestanzten Löcher. Beim stanzen kommt die Erde oben aus dem Metallrohr heraus also kein Problem mit Verstopfungen etc.Ich habe den Distanzring abgelassen, so dass die Löcher ca. 20 cm tief wurden. Das Pflanzen war dann in kürzester Zeit erledigt.Tolles Produkt....auch für Blumenzwiebeln :-) ....und Menschen, die etwas mehr auf den Rippen haben; Hilft gut beim Stanzen der Löcher....

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but the effort it takes to get the mud out of the device after you make a hole and you want to make another hole is not worth the device AT ALL! I ended up using my trowel like before and my ambition to plant a load of bulbs went out the window again because I was exhausted! Very disappointing 😞

Von der Idee her klang das Produkt wirklich klasse. Musste ich also sofort ausprobieren. Auch wenn man das Gerät eigentlich gar nicht unbedingt braucht, bin ich als Gartenjunkie für jedes Gadget zu haben. Hier allerdings kann ich keine Empfehlung aussprechen. Die Erde bleibt immer in dem Rohr stecken, und man muss sie mit einem Stock wieder raus drücken.
