I take care of my relatively small lawn in a retirement community and not quite ready to farm it out a lawn care company. It's good exercise. However, my battery operated one a) doesn't last long and b) often hits the concrete edge, jumping and making my lawn edge jagged some of the time. I have seen lawn guys use their weed-wackers, but for me when I tried it, it was even worse! I was getting desperate! When Amazon Vine offered this tool for me to try, I was interested, for the reasons I mentioned. And guess what? This tool works better than I imagined. First of all, it is made of sturdy metal and has a long handle-its almost 6 foot long fully assembled! It has a very wide wheel that makes it sturdy and steady to push back and forth and the cutting edge works quite well. You can see it in position and also the results! Its still winter and the grass not actively growing, but it did fix the lawn edge from last fall. I have noticed that once you get the edge straight, its easier to keep it straight and this will be the perfect tool to keep it straight. It is easy to store with my other long-handled tools and I'm gonna keep doing it as long as I can. Having the right tool for the job always makes the job easier and the results more satisfactory. This is the right tool for my lawn. The only down side is the same for every other lawn tool, I have to clean up after use. Since its been a long time since my lawn was edged, a bit of dirt/mud collected on the edger, but I was able to clean it by hosing it off. I am going to have to do better than I have in the past at taking care of my tools and cleaning them so that they are ready for the next time. It's not a lot of fun cleaning a tool with dried-on grass or dirt! The same goes for the edge cuttings - I have to clean those up too.

I recently received this "Walensee Wheel Rotary Edger, 69.7 Inch Hand Manual Edger Lawn Tool with Adjustable Stainless Steel Handle, Trimming Grass Weed Edger with Cushion Grip for Garden Sidewalks Driveways and Landscaping" and I'm loving how clean it makes the edge of my front sidewalks!I've never "edged" my lawn before and have only ever seen the action performed with a motorized edging-specific tool used by the various lawn services I've had over the years. I have to admit that the "professionals'" execution is considerably faster (and cleaner) than my own attempts using a manual edger now that I have one, but I'm still very pleased with the results. This tool is pretty easy to put together and only took a couple of screws to get it assembled. It's also pretty simple to use. Just align the heavy plastic roller along the top of the sidewalk so that the blades will slice away any growth that they can reach. The end result is a clean line along the pavement's edge and I'm very happy with it. It does take a little practice and if you manage to misalign yourself it's kinda easy to rub dirt over top of the cement, but practice makes perfect, right? This tool won't replace a power version for those who edge regularly, but for those of us who just want to occasionally clean up those sidewalks and driveways, it's kinda perfect. Happy to recommend.

The Walensee Wheel Rotary Edger, exceeded my expectations! The adjustable stainless steel handle makes it comfortable to use, even for extended periods, and the cushion grip provides a nice touch to reduce hand fatigue. The rotary wheel design makes edging along sidewalks and driveways a breeze, cutting through overgrown grass cleanly without requiring too much effort. It’s lightweight yet sturdy, and I love that it’s a manual tool, meaning no need for gas or electricity—just good old-fashioned elbow grease! If you're looking for an eco-friendly, efficient, and well-built lawn edger for keeping your landscaping neat, I highly recommend this one. Definitely a great addition to my garden tools!✅ Pros:âœ”ï¸ Sturdy stainless steel constructionâœ”ï¸ Comfortable gripâœ”ï¸ Easy to use and maneuverâœ”ï¸ No gas or electricity needed⌠Cons:⌠Takes some effort for tougher edges (but that’s expected for a manual tool)Overall, a 5-star product! Would definitely buy again.
