I purchased two of these Large White Ydocabinit mailboxes for my freshly repainted entrance way. The design combined with the oh-so-white finish looks so fresh against our blue cedar shakes. The boxes come with mounting hardware including rubber spacers if you need to offset from the wall a tad. The box is reassuringly study metal, and feels like it will take all the abuse the US postal office sees fit to throw at it. I like the larger box - it can easily hold smaller packages from amazon and a bunch o' mail if I ever get popular.

This mailbox was easy to install and was a perfect replacement for what we had. It took us about 30 minutes to remove our old one and install this one. I would recommend this product.

This mailbox has solved a significant problem I've had with our previous mailbox - water infiltration. My previous mailbox was smaller, flimsier but worst of all the cover didn't entirely keep out the rain. Water would drip in from the lip of the top lid and saturate all mail that was delivered on a rainy day. Not with this one thankfully. The lid has an extra angled extension lip along the back edge which causes water to drip outside the back of the box and not into it. The result is dry mail. This mailbox is about twice the capacity of my previous one although it does not include the two newspaper brackets that were common in old mailboxes. The front of the box has an applied mosaic of metal panels giving it a modern design. Included in the package are four mounting screws and expansion anchors as well as 4 grommets which will keep the box mounted slightly offset from the wall it is mounted to. These grommets allow for enough space needed for the cover to operate without conflicting with the siding of your house - most useful if your house has horizontal lap siding.There is one trick to the install and that is tightening the mounting screws that are located near the bottom of the mailbox. Granted that you don't necessarily need them very tight as these mounting holes are slotted but if they are too loose then the screw heads stick out far enough to where mail slipped into the box will catch on the screw heads. I recommend an "S" shaped screwdriver (see photo) or a short stubby phillips head screw driver to tighten them up.

I do like the overall modern design. However, the product arrived visibly damaged to the extent that it limits the ability of the lid to open as intended. Will be returning.
