I mounted one of the brackets on the door frame and one on the door. Simple install, and while it's not the most secure lock (wouldn't be hard to break it if you wanted) it does what I wanted which was to just keep a door for sliding open on a guest room. Its not for security, but rather for convenience and does that job well.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Our barn door hugs the door trim very closely, so all other latches I was finding were too long and would cause the door to angle outward when latched. This one fits perfectly, compliments the black handle, isn't intrusively big, and also does the job - which is to keep our toddler grandchildren from pulling the door open. Will this thing hold up to an adult pulling with all of their might? Likely not; especially with the included screws (i imagine they would fail before the latch would). However, our grandson gave it a pull today and even with no floor guides installed, it held fast!

The first picture for the 2 latch product clearly shows 2 different latches - right and left. The package I received contained 2 left latches and no right latch. A reorder had the same (2 left latches and no right latch).Why is this important? The clearance on having the latch seat into it's holder is very tight. I had to provide my own spacers to get it to work properly. While you can imagine using the left latch on the right side, this significantly reduces the clearance (latch seating into the holder) making it almost impossible to correctly install.Hence OK if you only need a left latch.

I bought these door latches for thr refrigerator doors in my RV that would come open while traveling. They were easy to install and work perfectly in my application and I would purchase them again.

For the cost of this and its size, it is not worth it. Too small, making it difficult to close and lock. Don't be deceived like I was about it's size. It's tiny!

Este es un producto que no me ha sido fácil encontrar,A pesar de la publicación indica sus dimensiones y muestra el tamaño comparativo con una mano, lo cual es un gran acierto, y a pesar de que con grandes letras indica que es TINY SIZE, al tenerlo fÃsicamente se siente menos robusto de lo que aparenta la imagen del producto, pero cumple bien su función si no se ve sujeto a grandes esfuerzos de tensión, aunque tal vez cedan primero los tornillos o el material sobre el que se instale.Es un producto que cumple sus funciones, pero mo, no lo recomiendo como un elemento de cierre de seguridadEn mi opinión serÃa un mejor producto y mas cómodo de usar si fuese un poco mas grueso (2.5 ó 3 mm), 6 mm mas alto y 6mm mas ancho, para un total de 51 mm x 25mm,.Tengo un pestillo de cerrojo giratorio de otro tipo y de estas dimensiones que se siente mas sólido, y cuesta lo mismo.

Es de buena calidad y queda muy bonito, el acabado superficial es rugoso y aparenta hierro fundido y algo rústico.Yo lo he colocado en la puerta de un baño.Hay que tener cuidado con las medidas de los marcos para que ajuste bien. En mi caso he tenido que hacer hueco en el marco de madera, con un formón para que diese la medida y pudiese cerrar bien. Depende cada puerta, pero hay que tener en cuenta las medidas.

(Taille S, noir) Produit conforme à ce qui est indiqué. Semble robuste, finition propre. Attention : léger jeu au niveau de la partie articulée.Pour info, les épaisseurs des deux pièces sont respectivement de 1,7cm (partie articulée) et 0,7cm.Au final je le remplace par le modèle au format standard car la petite taille de celui-ci ne me permet pas une installation correcte dans ma situation (écart à conserver entre la porte et son cadre). Fera à priori tout à fait le job dans un cas plus classique.
