I use my Taylor test kit once a week and if any issues, but use the test strips for “at a glance†pre soak or mid week to get a ball pro idea of where my levels are and if I need to treat a little more (or less). So I compared these to AquaCheck 4 and my Taylor kit.These 7-in-1 DID NOT come close on pH, Alkalinity, or Hardness to the AquaCheck, let alone my Taylor. My CYA is low, and came up as the lowest on both these and the Aqua Check, so not really a good “test†of accuracy. pH was off almost 8 points compared to my Taylor (Aquacheck was 4). FC and TC are a crapshoot - the directions say test after 30 seconds. My kept getting darker after 30. But at 30 it showed my FC between 10-20. AC showed it as just under 10, and Taylor showed it to be 7.5 (I shocked today). These strips showed my Alkalinity to be 40; AC showed 60, Taylor put me at 70 (I keep my Alkalinity on the low side).These seem to be just off enough that I’ll never be able to tell if I actually am in the desired ranges. Sending them back, and ordering the AquaCheck.

decent tester gives u an idea on your chemicals specifically chlorine levels other levels unsure how accurate but still go monthly to your pool dealer

Test strips would not read the bromine levels, seemed to read all other levels fine. Ended up getting test strips from the spa place and those read the levels fine.
