This one worked perfectly with my ASUS laptop after trying and returning the StarTech one that I ordered. That one didn't work even after I followed their instructions and downloaded software. This Wavlink comes with instructions to go to their website, download a zip file, plug it in and it worked. I'll attach the picture I took to show my son. Notice that this is extended (iconson the main screen to the right), not just dual screens as a lot of these can only deliver dual.

Thank goodness for this sleek little box. It has answered all of my prayers. I was having extreme difficulty connecting my two additional monitors to my little laptop. I only had one HDMI and I was not sure which avenue to take. After some serious searching and several trips to BestBuy I decided to go this route. I was able to quickly attach the HDMI cables from the monitors and plug the USB into my laptop. After updating my drivers- It connected automatically. I had three displays in my settings and could configure how I needed. I was also able to extend the screen display so my two-monitor act as one giant one really making my life easier. I am also able to close my laptop and just work on the external monitors. Thank you so much!! The clarity is great and there is no relay time delay. Thanks again. I hope others find this product as great as I do!

Did not install this unit. It was my second choice if the first one did not work. First choice is in operation and working fine. I did receive this unit in a very timely manner.

My Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 has 1 HDMI port, one USB C port that is not a thunderbolt. No built-in way to connect 2 external displays. I connected this converter to my USB-C port, HDMI cable from it to my second monitor, and it just worked ! I now have 2 external monitors working great. I didn't do anything with drivers or settings. How often does that happen?! Very happy. Note I don't game or anything, and I have not tested it to see if I could do 3 monitors.

This adaptor worked perfectly there was no power to match so it was a simple plug and play to add 2 monitors.

The product it self, on-paper, answered all i need. I needed another external monitor on my laptop.It sdtarted promissing, it was easy to install and connect, it worked imedietly out of the box - which is simple and good.The framerate, or at least the video card processing speed is good for officec work, but a bit less for videos. you'll have a "jumpy" video - this never happens on the other "direct" external monitor.I never tried it for gaming.The biggest issue is the crashing - at leat once a week, the monitor will show a black screen and then i'll see the rebooting image of this adapter - it usually comes back after 20-30 sec.But when it happens in the middle of an importent task, while connected to customers, it is VERY VERY ANNOYINGI used to have a univeral docking with HDMI which worked fine, but took too much space. I thought this will be the solution, unfortunally i doubt it now.

I am using this to display dual monitors from my work laptop and it is working great. Install was easy and now I don't need to have my laptop on my desk (I could use three screens independently if I chose to do so). I am using a PC laptop and purchased this because my USB outputs do no support displays. Great value.
