Fits my bass and stops it from scooting as I'm playing even on a slick floor. But it left marks on my rug. As you can see in the attached picture I've resorted to using a pot holder to protect the rug. Those small black rings on the potholder are from the end pin black rubber cover

In the description it says that the diameter of the opening is 7mm. This is not true, the diameter is actually 10mm, and it was too big for my bass. I needed it to be 7mm.

The description says it's for a 7mm endpin, but the inner diameter is ~10mm

My endpin stop had broken some while ago and I'm not sure what I was thinking, but for a good three years I just put a little piece of rubber hose on the pin, and every time it would fold over and sometimes slip. Then I finally came to and ordered this. (Measure the pin size first!) I can't believe it took me so long--this is great for value and I don't have to use a crumby hose anymore.
