At first look and feel, these appear inferior to more expensive metal connectors. But, after actually using them for dumbbells that functions just as well as more expensive metal collars. When laid flat on the floor or on a table, the bottom surface that will contact your weights appears warped and bent. However, I believe that shape is intentional, so that if any of your weight are slightly out of perpendicular and not completely flat, this connector accessory will still be able to be screwed in all the way tightly to snug up next to the weight plate. The plus side of these are colorful, light weight ( in case you don't want to add weight beyond the plates and bar. When I screwed these green plastic connectors on to a dumbbell bar with out weights, the fit and tightness is just a bit more loose than the chrome plated connector in the photo. However, when screwed on with a weight plate, it works perfectly and feels snug and secure.

I got these extra spinlock fixed nuts to go with my EOAT Adjustable Dumbbell Set so I can make the set even more versatile than it already is. Having these extra parts means that I can spread the weights out to more options, such as using them on the short handles to make extra dumbbells, or adding them to bolt going through the round handle to make an additional kettlebell. I love this system and the spinlocks work great to really hold the weights in place without slipping.I also recently got an extra Kettlebell base screw. The EOAT 4-in-1 Free Weight Dumbbell Set came with 2 handles that could make Kettlebells, but only 1 base screw. So I wanted to get this additional base screw so I could have a full set with 2 Kettlebells. It’s identical to the one that came in my set and fits the handle perfectly. Now I can use both handles for Kettlebells. Strong and sturdy!
