Polyethersulphone is a hydrophilic membrane that has very low protein binding and high flow characteristics. It is also certified for ion chromatography. Polyethersulphone is more heat resistant than most membranes, and can be used to 100°C.

Polyethersulphone (PES)

Hydrophilic, stable in low pH, have low levels of extractables, and exhibit low protein binding, making them suitable for many aqueous and organic solvents. PES membranes allow higher liquid flow than PTFE. Temperature resistant. pH range ~3-14 (sometimes quoted as 1-14).

If you’re looking for filters for “recreational” use and don’t know which ones to get or need to get them at a great price, these are the best ones I’ve come across. They aren’t sterile so make sure you run rubbing alcohol through before using them just to be safe and make sure the liquid is at room temperature other wise the inside will rip and won’t filter out anything. Highly recommend using luer slip syringes without needles to filter everything out into seperate sterile container and then use needle syringe.

They're the real deal. They actually perform just as good as the really pricey brands, which is something I've never experienced with filters of this price point. I'm gonna get all the other types from this company now too (PES .22 micrometer is what I have now, and they're the best option on amazon for cleaning and sterilizing water-based solutions)
