it is pretty good, so far I have not had any issues with them. The plastic does seem a little cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I much prefer the non-metallic WELLMAKING umbrella light stand holder than all the metal ones I own. The WELLMAKING provides greater mounting flexibility due to the increased depth of the top and bottom adapter ports which allows mounting all types of devices to the light stand that benefit from a swivel. My photo shows both holders with the WELLMAKING on the left. The depth of the two WELLMAKING ports measure 1.5" and 1.3". The metal holder ports measure 1.2" and .75 inches deep. Both adapters shown fit well within the WELLMAKING. The thumbscrew on the metal holder tightens down on the collar of the shorter adapter when placed in the 1.2" port throwing it at an angle along with any equipment mounted on it. It does better in the .75" port but extends above the holder quite a bit.

It took me a while to find this item on Amazon because I did not know what it was called. I needed this piece to mount my LCD light panel. The swivel head is what I was really after because I wanted something I could easily adjust up or down; in this case, I wanted to change the direction of my light. If you buy a tripop, you will need this piece if you want to be afte to move either your light source or camera at a different angle (downward or upwarr). The price is also great!!
