Works great. I use it to filter water from rivers and lakes while over landing. Perfect for this role. It is compact, moves just the right amount of water, and appears to be constructed well.

In reading many reviews of numerous pumps available on Amazon, it seems the major complaint is with the longevity, only working once or twice, then dying. Not so with this pump. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it maintained a certain amount of continuous pressure as it emptied my in-ground pool. More pressure than I thought it would come with, especially since I'm only utilizing a standard 1/2" dia. garden hose. I've run it now 8 times in short amounts of time, but it is getting the job done. I couldn't be more pleased for the water press. output & price. It is, after all, a Westinghouse. I should have known better. Buy it - you won't be sorry.

We use this pump to transfer water from one large tank to another. We've tried a couple of other submersible pumps that last few years, but this one is hands down the best one we've used.It's quiet, moves a lot of water very fast and is also smaller than many others that claim to have the same capabilities. We've been using it for a couple of months now.Highly recommend and would definitely purchase again!

I got this for my parents' in-ground pool and their traditional vinyl cover that fills up with water every winter. My father always uses a garden hose to siphon water out, but this can take forever without any assistance from a pump. He was worried about just throwing the pump directly onto the cover because of the weight, so he suspended it using some rope attached to a long pole that leans over the pool. It looks precarious, but it made quick work of a full cover from a heavy rain. He was afraid to let it run dry, so he shut it off beforehand, but the water siphoned the rest of the way out overnight. Overall we've been super happy with its performance.

Easy to use, sturdy and so quiet, the birds love it. It moves water very well. Thank you the big one is for emergencies
