worked perfect. Rear bearing on 21 crosstrek, 65k daily driver in NJ. The trick is to support the entire knuckle underneath with a jack, they spin the bar to the top a few good hits, retighten lugnuts and spin it to the bottom and another few good hits. Check for movement each time spraying pb blaster down the back where it seperates and from the front behind the ebrake shoes. Had the bearing out in about 5 minutes of doing this. Nice and slow dont over do it will work fine. Tighten lugnuts each time you spin wheel. Remove wheel speed sensor before you start also. After its out clean the knuckle and a THIN coat of antiseeze inside for next time. Dont get antiseeze in the abs sensor hole.

I needed to remove the rear wheel hub from a 2017 Subaru Legacy. After having everything apart and sprayed with lots of WD40 and PB Blaster, the darn thing would not come off--even after beating it for hours with a 5 and 10 pound sledge hammer. So, I ordered this product.First, I needed to buy some 12mmx 1.25 nuts from the hardware store because I have read reviews of these devices, and everyone says that none of the nuts in the kit that comes with the tool will fit a Subaru. They were right. I mounted the Smash Bar and began the long process of beating it to death. I took a long time, and I beat up the tool quite a bit, but it never broke. I did get a bit dented. After a couple hours of beating it, it got loose a little, so I sprayed more Blaster on it and smacked it back it again to get the fluid to spread inside the bearing hub. I repeated this many times over, until it finally popped out.I would highly recommend that people buy this version of the tool because it has reinforcing plates all over. They came in handy and helped keep the tool from getting destroyed.Well done.

I needed to replace wheel bearing hubs on our Subaru and watched some YouTube videos. I saw where all the mechanics had issues getting the corroded bearing hubs out of the suspension knuckles. Trust me, it is a "beeyotch". Several guys used this tool to get the bearing hubs to break loose. So, I purchased this thinking, if I don't need it, I can always return it unused. Boy, did I need it, those bearing were practically welded into the knuckles. I had to really wack on this tool to get them to separate. There is no way I could have done this job without this tool. It may be awhile before I use this again, but it saved me big bucks over what the dealer wanted to charge, and buddy, Subarus are known to have frequent wheel bearing failures due to their poor design (no seals to keep out road salt). The only downside was the tool bolts onto the wheel studs and requires constant retightening of the supplied nuts as they loosen after every hit.I highly recommend this tool; you can thank me later with a cold one!Cheers

Bought this to remove rear wheel bearings on a 2015 Subaru Forester with 203K.miles. Had high hopes...didn't work. Too much rust. Got them out another way.Made really well. Good welds. Poor hardware. Use your own if you purchase.

Use this product on a Subaru wheel bearing rear. Bolt patterns did fit but was not able to remove hub. A air hammer and bolt work better.

I've used the Lupar Wheel Bearing Hub Removal Tool on several occasions, and while it gets the job done, there are a few areas that could use improvement. It's compatible with all axle bolt hubs, including 5, 6, and 8 lug hubs, which is great for versatility. However, I've found that the tool can be a bit challenging to handle, especially when working with stubborn or rusted hubs. The build quality is decent, but it doesn't feel as robust as some other tools I've used in the past. Overall, it's a reasonable choice if you're in a pinch, but there might be better options available if you're looking for something more durable and user-friendly.
