I bought this for those moments and times when you need to jack in a computer or a cell phone, and it simply works well in a variety of situations. It is small and rugged, which allows me to throw it in with my gear or stuff it into my laptop case. For a presenter or an A/V tech, it is a clean and classy solution.

Using these in my home studio to take stereo audio sources to xlr and into an audio interface. They work very well and as expected. I work in professional live events and Whirlwind is still one of the most widely used brands for DI boxes.

We use this to D/I our computer into our sound system at church. We'd struggled with getting hums or grounding issues with other D/Is and this has completely absolved those issues.Highly recommend this product if you're looking for a hum-free way to connect a 1/8 inch or RCA component to your system.Pros:+ Connects 1/8 inch and RCA components directly+ On board Left & Right volume controllers (we don't utilize)+ Hum reduction and Grounding

A Direct Box WorkhorseIt is an excellent product, durable, sturdy build. A must for DJing or sound reinforcement. Due to its size, fits easily into you go bag. If your working, it's a must. I use it with a Maui 28 mix G2, the ultimate portable DJ rig. Go small, but go with a great professional product.

Mainly bought this for recording song ideas from my phone into my recording software that my band mates send me when we’re remotely writing new songs together or when learning new songs. This works great. Recently started using my amps with headphone out into my recording software. I prefer hardware amps instead of software amps for some songs. Very happy with this purchase.

If you do any live audio and you don't own at least one of these, correct yourself. These are a standard for the industry and every venue we I step in to they tend to have these laying around. This will reduce noise coming from a 3.5m jack and going into a XLR connector. And it works very well.
