I'm no mathematician, so I don't care that much about chalk. However, I do have a terrible chalkboard, and the crayola chalk I was using was scratchy and wouldn't stick to some spots. It was effectively unusable. I bought this chalk and the difference is night and day. It writes smooth and wipes off easy, and there aren't any spots where it doesn't stick. Now the crayola chalk feels like a burnt stick covered in glue and dirt. I haven't tried other brands, and now I probably never will. This stuff is great!

Multiple teachers have commented to me on how amazing this chalk is. Some of the pieces arrived broken, which was unfortunate, but you can guarantee there won't be any board scratching with these. Superb.

Each piece was broken. Packaging was a bit dusty and once opened it was a mess. Writes smooth but dusty.

Found out after I bought it that this stuff is pretty toxic to just about everything. It would cause the ants to pause for awhile, but not for long.

This chalk is great! I hate being covered in chalk dust after I teach and this chalk really minimizes that.

I bought this chalk to deter ants in the kitchen area. I don’t use chemicals in my kitchen... I make chalk marks (to block the ant’s path) on windows sills and any hard surface where see a few ants walking ... Within a couple of hours the few ants are gone, generally ants will not cross the chalk. I watch the area and if one or two manage to cross (walk in the chalk) I believe the chalk causes confusion and the ants leave and within a day or two, no more stragglers. I’m not sure if the chalk works when there’s a lot of ants already present but definitely works for the few that may be scouting. And I think when the one or two goes back to the nest others are deterred from coming in that direction. I hope this review helps.
