Function Description:
Window regulator is a mechanism inside a vehicle's door panel which is responsible for controlling the movement of the window glass.It consists of several components including a motor, regulators and cables.The regulator is powered by a motor which is connected to the regulator and the window glass, usually controlled by a switch or button located on the interior of the vehicle. Ensuring that the window moves smoothly and does not vibrate or jam and helps to keep the window sealed, stoping drafts, water, and other elements from entering the vehicle

Installation Steps:
1、Detach the door panel
2、Loosen the bolts and screws for the regulator and window glass. Raise the glass window and secure it with tape
3、Take out the old regulator and motor
4、Install the new regulator in the same position
5、Reinstall all the bolts and screws
6、Tighten the screws with the wrench
7、Connect the wires to the window motor
8、Lower the glass window to the new regulator and tigthen the mounting hardwares. Put back the plastic liner and door panel
9、Test if the regulator functions good

I was skeptic but very impressed at how easy it was to install. So far the window operates as it should. Saved me hundreds vs taking to the shop. I'd give it 5 stars but need to see how lo g it works.

I installed this regulator on my car in February, and the rear window has only been used about four times since. Unfortunately, as I was lowering the window yesterday, the regulator suddenly failed and stopped working.

I'm not a mechanic at all. I have a degree in biology which means zero formal training under the hood (and no, these don't belong under the hood) but this was a surprisingly simple fix. The cord snapped on my rear passenger window of my 2007 BMW 328i and I got fed up waiting to get into a mechanic. I didn't need the motor but I'm a firm believer in Murphy's Law so I figured I would replace the whole assembly in one fell swoop. I watched a YouTube video and did the job with tools I already owned - didn't even need a drill. You'd never know there was a problem before. I saved a ton of money and the whole job took under 30min, mostly because it was so hot out while I did the fix.
