Working on air conditioning units this pocket of technology is great and affordable and it gives customers satisfaction knowing that there's no issue with airflow or temperature

Since I have a drone, I decided to get this to be able to tell how strong a gust of wind is and know for sure if my drone would be able to handle it (the drone is a DJI Mini 2 which can resist 20mph winds). It measures temperature and wind speed very accurately, but it does take a while for it to display the true temperature after sitting inside a warm house. I tested it outdoors the first day I had it and the weather app said there should be about 7mph winds and 53 degrees. The maximum gust the meter picked up was 7.5mph and the temperature was 54 degrees. It is very easy to read and use this, but you have to make sure it is in the units you understand the most. I personally like to use mph for wind, fahrenheit for temperature

Pretty good for the price. You have to take the case off to change units of measurement. Under reads by 3-5 mp it appears to me, probably because the little fan deal is too small to be really accurate. I use it just to get a baseline of wind speed for curiosity, not anything mission critical, so it serves that purpose because it's portable and easy to use.

Great little devise. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be so small though. Fits in the palm of my smallish hand. As accurate as I need it to be for checking vent output at the house. Only wish the back-lit light stayed on a little longer. Just hit a button and it lights up again. Great little home tester back of a napkin math device

I needed to seal and weatherstrip my house, but I need to know exactly where. This little device is inexpensive and it works well. I recommend this product for deciding where you need to put insulation or weatherstripping.

No adjustments for temp or more importantly wind velocity. How hard would it have been to have a software adjustment using the two buttons or at the very least a trimmer pot in the back? Backlight only stays on for ten seconds. At night that make it a real pain in the ass to have to keep repeatedly pressing a button to see a reading in the dark. Have a constant on setting option for the backlight and power save. If I want to save power I'll turn it off. It also loses all settings when the battery is removed. Bought this to check relative wind speed before launching drones. Absolutely cannot trust the reading. I should not have to do a mental offset to this inaccurate device. I'll probably drop it from four hundred feet AGL to see how well it bounces. At least then it it will have had been useful for something.

I bought this after returning a similar product that actually cost a few dollars more, and yet which had proved wildly inaccurate. This unit is very, very compact. It comes with readable directions and it is fairly accurate. This is the one to get if one is interested in something handy and small, and does not want to upgrade to larger units that will require larger batteries, e.g., 9 volt or two AA.

Nice inexpensive device i used to help balance the airflow in my home heating vents. It did the job. It uses the very popular CR2032 button battery. The meter has a red rubber cover that probably adds some shock protection, but I'm not going to drop it on the floor to see if it works. One somewhat confusing thing about this meter is access to the battery which is underneath the red cover. Looking at the back of the cover I just assumed I would twist the round battery shaped area, and the round section would pop off to expose the battery. Wrong! It is just an imprint in the rubber that indicates location of the battery. After a couple of frustrating minutes I realized the whole rubber cover has to be peeled off the device. Underneath that cover is the actual battery cover.

The digital anemometer was very easy to used, its small and lightweight. A 'O' ring battery required to operate the digital anemometer. its the best to measure the wind speed, air temperature, sailing and so more...you can also used it as home purposes like measure the speed and temperature of CPU computer fans, air conditioners and airflow of the roof and walls. Overall its the best multifunctional digital anemometer which gives you accurate results.

Works as intended, not a bad price, and handy to keep in the drone bag, small enough to not take up much room, easy to use and is accurate when compared to another
