My old chime (melody) doesn't work with Google nest doorbell. This one works well.By the way, I think it was due to a problem with the google doorbell. It cannot trigger and work with melody type chime. This one is the ding type chime. It works.

You never know till you try. I needed the push buttons seen this and thought ok upgrade all the way. Buttons work like described. The sound of the door bell chime sounds like two glasses clinking together just once. when you reach for a glass bump another that is the sound. Unless the person at the door continuously pushes the button , My family and I will never hear it. Needless to say I hooked up my old chime back up. I gave it 3 stars for the 2 push buttons and speedy delievery.
