Plug and play. So far working without any issue.Distance between transmitter and receiver is about 20ft right now. No tested at 1600ft yet to check it can achieve range that they claim to have.Although a manual is not need, it will be nice if they include documentation with same information available in the description.

It only works with the transmitter, so you’re unable to control it from an iPad as I was led to believe when I purchased this product
