I love this chinrest. it is so comfortable! I have been looking for a more comfortable chinrest for years...this is it. and i LOVE the center mount. I have one on my violin and viola now. I have all my students use the side mount. (since they all have small violins/violas and they do not make a center mount for instruments smaller than 4/4. The side mount is pretty close so it works)

The chin rest seems well made--it's a good name, but it didn't seem to fit my viola well, so I returned it.

Easy to install and, if fit properly, doesn't slip off. Comfortable fit for my child's viola. Also, fits in the viola case without needing to be removed.

We had an unfortunate experience with this chin rest. The screws were unscrewable and it broke within a month of using. It falls to pieces every time my son practices and he is constantly piecing it together. It is very frustrating.

This helped my nine year old with her viola playing. She kept trying to balance on a side chinerest and it was not working well at all. She hated to play. This has made it much more enjoyable and less stressful for me because I don't have to force her to practice.
