I'm really surprised by this cheap shoulder rest. I've used Wolf and Kun previously so I'm comparing this one to those. After 5 months of use I can tell it is very comfortable: the cushion is not the best quality but still feels really good, and has kept its integrity all this time after great amount of use in a hot and humid weather. It is strong: the plastic doesn't bend like the Kun so it never touches or scratches the instrument's back plate. It is sticky: unlike my previous Kun which was very slippy, this one doesn't move or fall. The materials are not top of the line, plastic does look cheap, but the overall design looks good. I hope this one keep lasting in good condition.PS: It does not fit a lower bout of more than 10 inchs wide, I have another 16.5 viola that is Tertis model and can't this shoulder rest with it.

My daughter needed a new chin rest for her Viola when she's upsized to a 15.5 Viola. She's said it's comfortable for her when she plays, and the price is good too! It's a win for both, my daughter and me. Definitely recommended!

I bought these for use in a school music program. They are so difficult to adjust. I had to use pliers to loosen. The connector that connects the feet to the rest is very wobbly with lots of side to side play. I predict it will break before too long and the piece is not a standard size thay can be replaced. Will update.

Very happy with the product. Comfortable width. However, the postage from the USA was pricey and a bit slow.
