There is a lip around the outlet side. This makes the filter wider than the stock filter. It will not fit my stock location. I had to modify my stock pickup to fit this filter.

Product not as described. Picture is of a silver smooth filter. One I received is black and has a lip where the top meets the sides. That lip is why my filter won't fit in the filter holder bracket of my '87 chevy s-10. I don't doubt it is the suggested filter as most parts places I visited have tried to sell me the same part but the image should match the product so people know whey they are getting
